Commissioning
Commissioning a bespoke piece of furniture is an investment in quality, personal style, and function. Unlike mass-produced items, a custom piece is meticulously crafted, ensuring it fits your space exactly and meets your unique needs. It allows you to select the exact materials, finishes, and design details, resulting in a unique item that perfectly complements your home's aesthetic and reflects your individual taste. Furthermore, bespoke furniture is built with superior craftsmanship and materials, guaranteeing a durable, quality piece that will last for generations, offering lasting value beyond its initial cost.
Initial Design Consultation
The process begins with a detailed initial design consultation, which is crucial for translating your vision into a tangible concept. During this meeting, we will discuss your specific requirements, including the furniture's intended use, the dimensions of the space it will occupy, and your desired aesthetic. The goal is to establish a clear, collaborative understanding of the final piece, ensuring the design meets both your functional needs and stylistic expectations before any work begins.

Manufacture
Once the design is finalised and approved, the piece moves into the bespoke manufacturing stage. We are committed to the highest standard of craftsmanship. Throughout the build, we will send you regular, transparent updates on how the piece is progressing, which will often include photos.

Delivery
The delivery of a bespoke piece is an important stage in the process to ensure the furniture arrives safely and where required is installed correctly. Prior to delivery, we will agree timings and access. Once the furniture is carefully unpacked and placed in its final location, we will make sure that you are happy with everything before leaving.

Pricing
Establishing a guide price or budget early in the process is essential for a successful commission. The cost of bespoke furniture is determined by several factors: the complexity of the design, the type and quality of materials chosen and the labour hours required for manufacturing. Discussing your budget upfront allows us to tailor material choices and design elements to meet your financial constraints without compromising the integrity of the final piece.
